| Resumen : | Cada vez más las tecnologías inalámbricas van avanzando y ganado terreno en las empresas, instituciones y en el hogar. La especificación IEEE 802.11 tiene una variedad de estándares de comunicación inalámbrica, las cuales hacen posible establecer comunicación entre dispositivos móviles y estáticos. El IEEE802.11 supone uno de los estándares de comunicación por radiofrecuencia más utilizados y populares para redes de área locas. No es extraño que dispositivos como ordenadores portátiles, PDA´s, consolas de video juegos, móviles o inclusión maquinaria industrial hagan uso de este estándar como solución inalámbrica para interconectar y transferir cualquier tipo de información, datos, vox o video. Como ejemplo de ello, basta con realizar la búsqueda mediante su ordenador de las redes inalámbricas disponibles en su entorno, para darse cuenta de la gran acogida que esta tecnología ha tenido en la sociedad. Este estudio de factibilidad va dirigido a la red de la Carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, el cual tiene como objetivo analizar los estándares y protocolos de seguridad a implementarse en la red WLAN de la carrera, que ayudaran a mejorar la seguridad de datos, cobertura y servicios. |
| Descripción : | More and more wireless technologies are advancing and gaining ground in companies, institutions and the home. The IEEE 802.11 specification has a variety of wireless communication standards, which make it possible to establish communication between mobile and static devices. The IEEE802.11 is one of the most widely used and popular radio frequency communication standards for crazy area networks. It is not surprising that devices such as laptops, PDAs, video game consoles, mobile phones or industrial machinery use this standard as a wireless solution to interconnect and transfer any type of information, data, vox or video. As an example of this, it is sufficient to perform the search through your computer of the wireless networks available in your environment, to realize the great reception that this technology has had in society. This feasibility study is aimed at the network of the Computer Systems Engineering Career of the Southern State University of Manabí, which aims to analyze the security standards and protocols to be implemented in the WLAN network of the race, which will help improve data security, coverage and services. |
