| Resumen : | Ante la actual problemática de desempleo en Manabí, el auge del turismo constituye una oportunidad del autoempleo para el cantón Jipijapa. El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar las potencialidades de empleo para el desarrollo de proyectos turísticos en la cabecera del cantón Jipijapa. Específicamente se analizan los referentes teóricos que sustentan el estudio, los atractivos turísticos, la caracterización de la situación actual y las potencialidades del proyecto de desarrollo local sobre gestión turística para la generación de empleo en la cabecera cantonal de Jipijapa. Para cumplir con los objetivos mencionados, se realizó un estudio teórico de estos temas, basado en una revisión de los aportes hasta la actualidad. Se buscó, seleccionó y sistematizó la bibliografía, para analizarla y finalmente presentar las conclusiones. También se realizaron entrevistas y encuestas semiestructuradas a la población del área. De acuerdo a la bibliografía consultada y a los resultados de las entrevistas y encuesta, se puede afirmar que las capacidades contribuyen positivamente en el desarrollo de un proyecto denominado La oferta turística de restauración. Los resultados constatan que la situación actual del empleo, en la localidad, se caracteriza por la carencia de otras fuentes que no sean la agrícola, pequeños negocios de venta de comida, y otros artículos, así como los centros comerciales de TIA y AKI, estos últimos brindando empleo a personas jóvenes de Jipijapa. No obstante, se observa un aumento de los desocupados, y su coincidencia con lo que ocurre en otros países de América del Sur expresado en la tendencia al pluriempleo y a una valoración regular de las posibilidades de empleo para mujeres y jóvenes como principales grupos afectados. Lo cual hace que la población tenga que emigrar o trabajar en lugares distantes de sus viviendas, la situación del empleo generalmente fue percibida como regular. Se concluyó que el proyecto “La oferta turística de restauración para la reactivación del turismo en la cabecera cantonal de Jipijapa” constituye como una importante alternativa que tiene la potencialidad para cambiar la situación del empleo en la localidad estudiada. |
| Descripción : | Given the current problem of unemployment in Manabi, the boom in tourism is an opportunity for self-employment for the Jipijapa canton. The objective of this work was to determine the potential of employment for the development of tourist projects in the head of the Jipijapa canton. Specifically, we analyze the theoretical references that support the study, the tourist attractions, the characterization of the current situation and the potential of the local development project on tourism management for the generation of employment in the cantonal head of Jipijapa. In order to fulfill the aforementioned objectives, a theoretical study of these subjects was carried out, based on a review of the contributions up to the present time. The bibliography was searched, selected and systematized, to analyze it and finally to present the conclusions. Also were conduced Semi-structured interviews and surveys for the area's population. According to the bibliography consulted and the results of the interviews and survey, it is possible to affirm that the capacities contribute positively in the development of a project of The tourist offer of restoration. The results show that the current situation of employment in the locality is characterized by the lack of sources other than agriculture, small food shops, and other items, as well as the TIA and AKI shopping centers, these Young people from Jipijapa. However, there is an increase in the number of unemployed people, and their coincidence with other countries in South America, as expressed in the trend of multiemployment and a regular valuation of employment opportunities for women and young people as the main affected groups. As a result of which the population has to emigrate or work in places far from their homes, the employment situation was generally perceived as regular. It was concluded that the project "The tourist offer of restoration for the reactivation of the tourism in the cantonal head of Jipijapa" constitutes an important alternative that has the potential to change the employment situation in the studied locality. |
