Descripción : Dengue is an epidemic and endemic viral malaise, it is transferred by mosquitoes of the Aedes genus. Until now, it is producing an arbovirus worldwide in terms of morbidity, mortality and financial impact. The objective and purpose of this research is to support platelet quantification and clinical manifestations in patients diagnosed with dengue virus during its acute phase. This research was carried out under the modality of bibliographic review. The methodology applied was descriptive, it has a documentary design and a type of informative study. Within the inclusion criteria, updated data on Dengue were used through web portals with a publication date of the last 5 years (2017-2022). The main clinical manifestations present in patients diagnosed with dengue virus were fever, headache, myalgia, skin rashes, abdominal pain and retro ocular pain. The patient infected with dengue is showing a low level of platelets signifying thrombocytopenia. Among the most used tests for the diagnosis of dengue is the rapid NS1 test, followed by the rapid IgM test. Various investigations have shown the relationship between patients diagnosed with dengue in its acute phase and are associated with each other.
