| dc.description | Chronic kidney disease is defined by the presence, either of kidney lesions or by a decrease in the glomerular filtration rate for more than three months of evolution, it can be classified into five stages. Acute kidney injury occurs when the kidneys suddenly lose their ability to filter waste from the blood. A biomarker is a biological molecule that is found in the blood, other fluids or in body tissues, the presence of these is a sign for a normal or abnormal process of some condition or disease. The objective of this research was to analyze new perspectives on biomarkers of kidney damage. While, the research is based on the most relevant literary search on the subject to be treated. The research design is documentary and the type of study is descriptive and exploratory. In order to obtain this information, platforms such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Scielo, ELSEVIER and Medigraphic were used. Among the inclusion criteria are the articles that were found in languages such as English, Portuguese and Spanish. The articles had a search period from 2014 to 2022. Among the risk factors found to suffer from a disease due to kidney damage are type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, as well as nephrotic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases. | dc.description.abstract | La enfermedad renal crónica se define por la presencia, ya sea de lesiones renales o por el descenso de la tasa de filtración glomerular durante más de tres meses de evolución, este puede clasificarse en cinco estadíos. El daño renal agudo sucede cuando los riñones pierden, de forma repentina, la capacidad de filtrar los desechos de la sangre. Un biomarcador es una molécula biológica que se encuentra en la sangre, otros líquidos o en tejidos del cuerpo, la presencia de estos es un signo para un proceso normal o anormal de alguna afección o de una enfermedad. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar nuevas perspectivas sobre los biomarcadores de daño renal. Mientras que, la investigación se basa en la búsqueda literaria más relevante sobre el tema a tratar. El diseño de la investigación es documental y el tipo de estudio es descriptivo y exploratorio. Para poder obtener dicha información se utilizó plataformas como: Google Académico, PubMed, Scielo, ELSEVIER y Medigraphic. Entre los criterios de inclusión están los artículos que se encontraron en idiomas como inglés, portugués y español. Los artículos tuvieron un periodo de búsqueda desde el 2014 hasta el 2022. Entre los factores de riesgo encontrados para llegar a padecer alguna enfermedad por daño renal están la diabetes mellitus tipo 2, la hipertensión, así como el síndrome nefrótico, enfermedades cardiovasculares. Los biomarcadores que son utilizados como forma de diagnóstico para daño renal son la cistatina C, KIM-1, Creatinina sérica, así como la albuminuria. | es_ES |
