| Resumen : | Es imprescindible aumentar la actividad económica, pues con ella se genera diferentes recursos en pro de la calidad de vida del hombre, pero esta actividad debe efectuarse teniendo en cuenta la absoluta necesidad de proteger el medio ambiente. El desarrollo industrial trae como consecuencia el agotamiento de los recursos naturales, incrementando los deterioros ambientales con dimensión global, lo que obliga a llevar a cabo un conjunto de actuaciones que opte por no agotar los recursos naturales. La construcción de la Terminal Terrestre se la realizó sin efectuar antes de la edificación de la misma un estudio de impacto ambiental previo a la evaluación de impacto ambiental, para finalizar con una auditoría ambiental, que es una herramienta legal y objetiva que establece los procedimientos ambientales necesarios para el desarrollo de una empresa o institución, configurándola desde el punto de vista legal ambiental, obteniéndose con ello la mala o buena imagen con respecto al medio ambiente donde se está implantando la edificación. La Terminal Terrestre Municipal “Xipixapa” del Cantón Jipijapa fue inaugurada Oficialmente el 15 de Octubre de 1997, para posteriormente entrar a funcionar en su totalidad el 24 de Noviembre del mismo año, dando inicio a sus actividades con un número de 39 empleados, realizando los cobros de tarifas de las frecuencias en su totalidad. A solicitud del señor Egresado Jorge Gutiérrez Chóez, quién fue el “auditor jefe”, se ha solicitado realizar una auditoría interna que le permitió establecer si la institución y sus actividades cumplen con la normativa ambiental nacional |
