| Resumen : | La investigación tuvo como propósito realizar un diagnóstico de las actividades turísticas que se ofertan en el Biocorredor y su aporte en el desarrollo turístico del cantón Santa Ana evaluando el grado de operación técnica y tecnológica acorde a la actividad comercial de los prestadores de servicios que se encuentran ubicados en las riveras del Río Portoviejo desde la cabecera cantonal de Santa Ana hasta la Represa Poza Honda, aquí se determinó el impacto socio económico por efecto de su actividad, para lo cual se aplicó un análisis deductivo e inductivo, y de una metodología retrospectiva y prospectiva. Los resultados establecieron, que en este sector nunca se ha realizado un diagnóstico de las actividades turísticas ofertadas lo que ha ocasionado el declive de la zona en el último año. Se observó que dentro de este contexto entre lo ofertado se evidencia actividades como la venta de comida, la utilización del río y el uso de canchas deportivas lo que se constituye solo como una pequeña parte de lo que se podría hacer con la capacitación necesaria. La venta de comida representa el 60% de los servicios brindados por los prestadores de servicios esto aporta entre el 60% y 75% del de los ingresos semanales de la población involucrada. Pero a causa de esta actividad hay personas que han resultado afectadas, como es el caso de los que utilizaban las aguas del río para realizar los reguíos de sus siembras, los mismos que a la fecha se ha quedado sin su único ingreso |
| Descripción : | The research was aimed to carry out a diagnosis of tourist activities on offer in the Biocorredor and their contribution to tourism development in the Santa Ana Region to assess the degree of technical and technological operation according to the business of service providers who are located on the banks of the Portoviejo River from the main regional town of Santa Ana to the Dam Poza Honda, here indicates the effect of socio- economic impact of their activities, for which he applied a deductive and inductive analysis, and methodology retrospective and prospective.
