| Resumen : | Tabaquismo como factor de riesgo de artritis reumatoide en fumadores del sector Fanca del cantón Sucre año 2019. El tabaquismo es considerado una de las principales causas de mortalidad temprana y es una enfermedad crónica en donde el hábito de fumar aumenta el riesgo de padecer artritis reumatoide, ya que éste desarrolla aún más el daño existente en las articulaciones presentando manifestaciones y complicaciones fuera de las mismas. | Descripción : | Smoking as a risk factor for rheumatoid arthritis in smokers in the Fanca sector of Sucre canton year 2019. Smoking is considered one of the main causes of early mortality and is a chronic disease where smoking increases the risk of rheumatoid arthritis, as it further develops the damage to the joints presenting demonstrations and complications outside of them. The main objective was to evaluate smoking as a risk factor for rheumatoid arthritis in smokers in the Fanca sector of Sucre canton year 2019. The research was based on a descriptive and cross-sectional study, to which observation techniques and surveys with voluntary informed consents were applied, the sample applied the inclusion and exclusion criteria where all smokers in the Fanca sector were selected.
