| Resumen : | La investigación partió del problema de cómo Determinar si la cartera vencida de la Empresa Pública Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado Sanitario impacta en la calidad del servicio de los ciudadanos del cantón Jipijapa. Para incrementar sus ingresos. La investigación indagó sobre cuáles son las estrategias que emplea la empresa para la recuperación de cartera vencida, los motivos que conllevan el no pago de las obligaciones contraídas por parte de los usuarios de las distintas parroquias urbanas que tiene el cantón ; así como la percepción de los usuarios respecto a la calidad del servicio que la empresa ofrece , con énfasis en el tema de recaudo. Se realizó una investigación de campo y la metodología utilizada fueron inductivo, deductivo, bibliográfico y estadístico , así como las técni cas de la entrevista y encuesta. Los datos recopilados fueron procesados en cuadros y gráfic os. Como resultados se destaca el nivel de cumplimiento de los abonados es del 40% de los usuarios están al día en sus pagos el restante es cartera vencida que equivale a $2’650.000, las parroquias San Lorenzo, Manuel Inocencio Parrales y Guale y parte de la Miguel Moran Lucio los cuales están identificados como sector 5, 6, y 9 son los que más cartera vencida tienen; para mejorar se aplicó estrategias de recuperación de esta cartera con cortes de servicio y con proceso de coactivas; a través de los resulta dos se obtuvieron conclusiones concretas que ayudaron a dar recomendaciones a la Empresa Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Jipijapa. |
