| Resumen : | Con el propósito de obtener el título de ingeniero ambiental se efectuó la tesis “gestión de riesgo ante inundación en la comunidad estero bravo del cantón Olmedo” que a más de permitirme titularme en esta carrera, el mismo sea una herramienta de solución para la comunidad que me apoyo en el desarrollo de mi trabajo, este tuvo como objetivo principal diseñar un Plan de Gestión de Riesgos ante inundaciones con el que se pueda hacer frente a esta realidad, para así poder beneficiar el entorno de los habitantes. la investigación fue de carácter cualitativo, en la que se aplicaron métodos teóricos, como el análisis bibliográfico y de carácter empírico como la observación y la cartografía para obtener las coordenadas exactas de la comunidad, mediante la información recopilada se elaboró el mapa de susceptibilidad permitiendo identificar los escenarios de peligros dentro de la comunidad; de igual manera el mapa de vulnerabilidades en el que se identificó las afectaciones que han habido en las infraestructuras públicas, cultivos perennes y de ciclo corto, afectación de ganado vacuno, porcino y equino, así como también animales de corral, entre otros; además, por la superposición de los mapas de amenazas y vulnerabilidades se logró identificar los peligros y riesgos de la zona, permitiendo obtener la información necesaria para realizar un plan de gestión de riesgo, en el que se determinó la carencia de cultura de gestión, identificándose como causa principal la falta de capacitación de los organismos responsables a la población de Estero Bravo referente a la prevención de riesgos de inundación. |
| Descripción : | With the purpose of obtaining the title of environmental engineer, the thesis "flood risk management in the estero bravo community in the Olmedo canton" was carried out, which in addition to allowing me to obtain my degree in this career, will be a solution tool for the community that supported me in the development of my work, the main objective was to design a Risk Management Plan for floods with which this reality can be faced, in order to benefit the environment of the inhabitants. the research was qualitative in nature, in which theoretical methods were applied, such as bibliographic analysis and empirical methods such as observation and mapping to obtain the exact coordinates of the community. through the information gathered, a susceptibility map was drawn up to identify the hazard scenarios within the community; Similarly, the vulnerability map identified the effects on public infrastructure, perennial and short-cycle crops, cattle, pigs and horses, as well as corral animals, among others; In addition, by superimposing the maps of hazards and vulnerabilities, it was possible to identify the hazards and risks of the area, allowing us to obtain the necessary information to carry out a risk management plan, in which the lack of management culture was determined, identifying as the main cause the lack of training of the responsible agencies to the population of Estero Bravo regarding flood risk prevention. |
