| dc.description.abstract | El pensamiento de Florence Nightingale al igual que los buenos cuadros no envejece, al revés resiste el paso del tiempo e inclusive marca tendencia. Por tanto, a día de hoy cuando la pandemia COVID 19 arrasa el planeta, su concepto de cuidado holístico y su idea del arte enfermero, cobra una significación especial, de modo que, la dama de la lámpara guía a los profesionales de enfermería en el cuidado de las personas. Como objetivo fue describir los cuidados de enfermería en pacientes covid desde la teoría de Florence Nightingale. Métodos: se realizó una revisión sistemática utilizando palabras claves de búsqueda para su identificación, selección y elegibilidad de las publicaciones. Se realizaron búsquedas sistemáticas en SCIELO, SCOPUS, PUBMED, CINHAL, ELSEVIER, Advanced Google Scholar con artículos en inglés, portugués y español. Resultados: la Teoría del entorno es factible en la práctica clínica de enfermería ante la pandemia del Covid-19, puesto que es relevante implementar sus proposiciones sobre el ser humano, el medio ambiente y la salud para evidenciar el progreso del paciente. Conclusiones: El personal de enfermería es complementario en el equipo clínico, brindando alerta temprana y detección de complicaciones. Asimismo, la investigación muestra que su experiencia se centra en recurrir al reconocimiento de signos y síntomas, seguido del uso de los cuidados necesarios, entre ellos aislamiento en habitación acondicionada, apoyo emocional al paciente y familia, manejo del tratamiento sintomático, nutrición, agua según lo establecido en la teoría del entorno propuesta por Florence Nightingale. | es_ES |
