| Resumen : | La tuberculosis constituye un problema sanitario mundial y detenerla, es un reto para la humanidad. Los países latinoamericanos luchan contra la presencia de esta enfermedad y la enfermería juega un rol protagónico en el control de este problema planteando intervenciones integrales en diferentes esferas del individuo, familia y sociedad. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo; determinar el rol de enfermería en pacientes con tuberculosis desde la teoría de Dorothea Elizabeth Orem. Como materiales y métodos, se realizó una revisión documental sobre normativas, informes técnicos, guías de prácticas clínicas y resultados científicos, seleccionándose así 85 manuscritos divulgados en Scopus y Scielo, PubMed, entre otras bases de datos, la selección de los mismos se determinó mediante la calidad metodológica y la clasificación Critical Review Form-Quantitative Studies. Como resultados de la revisión bibliográfica se obtuvo que, el incansable rol del enfermero en la búsqueda activa de sintomáticos respiratorios, vacunación BCG, educación sanitaria, asesoramiento para la adherencia antifímica y visitas domiciliarias, es común en los programas de prevención y control de TB consultados, de tal manera se concluye que el insuficiente rol individual, familiar y comunitario, limitan la efectividad de acciones estructuradas para el alto a la tuberculosis. |
| Descripción : | Tuberculosis is a global health problem and stopping it is a challenge for humanity. Latin American countries fight against the presence of this disease and nursing plays a leading role in controlling this problem by proposing comprehensive interventions in different spheres of the individual, family and society. This study had as objective; determine the role of nursing in patients with tuberculosis from Dorothea Elizabeth Orem's theory. As materials and methods, a documentary review was carried out on regulations, technical reports, clinical practice guidelines and scientific results, thus selecting 85 manuscripts published in Scopus and Scielo, PubMed, among other databases, their selection was determined by methodological quality and Critical Review Form-Quantitative Studies classification. As results of the bibliographic review, it was obtained that the tireless role of the nurse in the active search for respiratory symptoms, BCG vaccination, health education, counseling for antifungal adherence and home visits, is common in the TB prevention and control programs consulted in such a way it is concluded that the insufficient individual, family and community role, limit the effectiveness of structured actions to stop tuberculosis.
