Resumen : | Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) associated liver injury is defined as any liver damage that occurs during disease progression and / or treatment of COVID-19 in patients with or without pre-existing liver disease. The liver is the most important organ in immune system and plays an important role in immune tolerance in the liver-intestine axis. The present study aims to analyze serum concentrations of transaminases in Post-Covid 19 patients with comorbidity in the Cantón Paján, Province of Manabí. For the development of the project, a descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional study was used and the object of study was investigated and the relationship between serum transaminase concentrations in Post-Covid 19 patients was described. Evidence that the values were found to be higher than the reference value. Being the female sex with greater relevance with 27.8% in TGO and 27.1% in TGP. The Spermean correlation of transaminases with comorbidities was applied, where statistical differentiation between diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease and other associated diseases was evidenced. It was evidenced that transaminases rise in a similar way and the gender with the highest percentage of levels above the reference value was the female gender of the studied population. According to the results obtained, a statistical association was evidenced with diabetes mellitus commorbidity and the elevated values in the two liver enzyme tests TGO, TGP because the value of p> 0.05 and a high correlation significance was observed by the test of the different pathological antecedents and the concentrations of both transaminases. |
