| Resumen : | La gestión de residuos peligrosos es un tema muy importante que los Centros de Salud deben tener en cuenta para tratarlo como una prioridad con el medio ambiente, y cumplir con los requisitos ambientales. El objetivo de esta investigación fue verificar y analizar la Gestión y Manejo Integral de los Residuos Peligrosos y no Peligrosos del Centro de Salud de El Anegado. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo y explicativo, para lo cual se aplicaron como técnicas la encuesta, check list de cumplimiento normativo y ficha de observación. Según los resultados obtenidos se encontró que la institución genera un promedio mensual de residuos en el centro de salud de 395,1kg de los cuales 227,5kg son residuos no peligrosos y 167,6kg son residuos peligrosos, un 82% son residuos comunes, y un 18% de residuos peligrosos entre los que se encuentran biológicos, cortopunzantes, anatomo-patológicos y químicos. Se verificó que el cumplimiento se da en un 20% a la normativo legal vigente en cuanto al manejo de los residuos en el centro de salud por lo cual se recomendó la implementación del plan de mejoras para el manejo integral de los residuos en el Centro de Salud, y de esta manera evitar los riesgos al medio ambiente y la salud del personal que labora en la institución. Por lo tanto, se concluye que se estableció la cantidad de residuos peligrosos generados en el Centro de Salud El Anegado según la revisión de los residuos generados del último trimestre de octubre a diciembre. |
| Descripción : | The management of hazardous waste is a very important issue that health centers must consider treating it as a priority with the environment and comply with environmental requirements. The objective of this research was to verify and analyze the management and integral management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste of the El Anegado Health Center. The type of research was descriptive and explanatory, for which the survey, regulatory compliance check list and observation sheet were applied as techniques. According to the results obtained, it was found that the institution generates a monthly average of waste in the health center of 395.1kg of which 227.5kg is nonhazardous waste and 167.6kg is hazardous waste, 82% is common waste and 18% of hazardous waste, including biological, short-sharp, pathological, and chemical waste. It was verified that compliance is given in 20% to the current legal regulations regarding the management of waste in the health center, which is why the implementation of the improvement plan for the integral management of waste in the Health Center was recommended, and in this way avoid risks to the environment and the health of the personnel working in the institution. Therefore, it is concluded that the amount of hazardous waste generated in the El Anegado Health Center was established according to the review of the waste generated from the last quarter of October to December. |
