| dc.description | At present, bridges are very important constructions, so their maintenance is of great importance in order to prolong the useful life of the bridge, the Roto bridge of the Paján canton presents deteriorating conditions in its structure, for which a general evaluation was carried out applying techniques visual inspection, the type of research is descriptive and qualitative, using documentary, theoretical and hypothetical-deductive methods. During the general evaluation, failures and deteriorations such as the corrosion of the metallic elements, the loss of tension in the bridge cables, the deterioration of the anticorrosive paint, presence of sediment and organic matter, the contamination of the concrete by water infiltrations and Anthills on the bridge slab, which requires maintenance and cleaning of some elements, the reconstruction of others due to their deteriorating condition and the implementation of new elements such as signaling and lighting of the bridge. Currently, no type of maintenance is being carried out on the bridge, which will greatly affect the durability, safety and functionality of this bridge. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad los puentes son construcciones muy importantes por lo que su mantenimiento es de gran importancia para poder prolongar la vida útil del puente, el puente Roto del cantón Paján presenta condiciones de deterioro en su estructura por lo que se realizó una evaluación general aplicando técnicas de inspección visual, el tipo de investigación es descriptiva y cualitativa, usando métodos documentales, teóricos e hipotético-deductivo. Durante la evaluación general se observó fallas y deterioros como la corrosión de los elementos metálicos, la perdida de tensión en los cables del puente, el deterioro de la pintura anticorrosiva, presencia de sediméntenos y materia orgánica, la contaminación del hormigón por infiltraciones de agua y hormigueros en la losa del puente, por lo que se requiere realizar mantenimientos y limpieza en algunos elementos, la reconstrucción de otros por su condición de deterioro y la implementación de nuevos elementos como son la señalización e iluminación del puente. En la actualidad no se están realizando ningún tipo de mantenimiento al puente, lo que afectara en gran medida la durabilidad, seguridad y funcionalidad de este puente. | es_ES |
