| Resumen : | El conocimiento y las prácticas que giran alrededor de las plantas medicinales están amenazados a desaparecer, indicio de esto es que para muchas de ellas se desconoce su utilidad. Ecuador es un país con una alta diversidad vegetal, y el turismo de plantas útiles es una solución que permite conservar las especies y sus conocimientos ancestrales. El objetivo del proyecto de investigación fue recopilar el conocimiento tradicional de las plantas medicinales de interés para el turismo que tienen los pobladores de la Parroquia Dr. Miguel Morán Lucio, Jipijapa, Manabí, Ecuador. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica y encuestas a 25 moradores conocedores de las plantas y emprendedores del sector turístico. Se identificaron 166 especies vegetales, de ellas 120 plantas medicinales de interés para promover un turismo de plantas útiles. Las especies arbóreas de mayor importancia resultaron ser Cecropia peltata L., Pouteria campechiana (Kunth) Baehni y Tectona grandis L.f. Se propone implementar el observatorio turístico virtual, para promover el servicio de información sobre plantas medicinales de la parroquia Dr. Miguel Moran Lucio de Jipijapa, Manabí, Ecuador. |
| Descripción : | The knowledge and practices that revolve around medicinal plants are threatened to disappear, an indication of this is that for many of them their usefulness is unknown. Ecuador is a country with a high plant diversity, and tourism of useful plants is a solution that allows to conserve species and their ancestral knowledge. The objective of the research project was to collect the traditional knowledge of medicinal plants of interest for tourism that the inhabitants Dr. Miguel Morán Lucio Parish, Jipijapa, Manabí, Ecuador. It made bibliographic and surveys were carried out on 25 residents with knowledge of the plants and entrepreneurs of the tourism sector. 166 plant species were identified, including 120 medicinal plants of interest to promote useful plant tourism. The most important tree species were Cecropia peltata L., Pouteria campechiana (Kunth) Baehni and Tectona grandis L.f.
