| Resumen : | El objetivo principal del presente trabajo de investigación trata sobre la restructuración de un sistema biométrico en el Decanato de la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, el cual permitirá fortalecer la seguridad y control de acceso del personal administrativo de dicha facultad, para que de esta manera se sientan más seguro en su área trabajo. Los métodos que se aplicaron en este proyecto de investigación fueron descriptivo, estadístico y bibliográfico, al igual que se emplearon técnicas como la observación directa del campo de estudio y entrevista realizada al personal directivo y administrativo que labora en dicha facultad. Este proyecto beneficiará al Decanato de la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, ya que fortalecerá el nivel de seguridad del Decanato además como el control del personal directivo que acceda a dicho departamento de manera autorizada. La propuesta de este proyecto concluye con la restructuración de un sistema biométrico, estableciendo los componentes, requerimientos técnicos de cada componente a utilizar, el cual es de suma importancia para la seguridad que se aplicara mediante diferentes técnicas como huella dactilar, contraseñas por medio de PIN de cada usuario, de esta manera fortalecer la seguridad y control para el Decanato de la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí. |
| Descripción : | The main objective of this research work deals with the restructuring of a biometric system in the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the State University of the South of Manabí, which will strengthen the security and access control of the administrative staff of said faculty, so that in this way they feel safer in their work area. The methods that were applied in this research project were descriptive, statistical and bibliographic, as well as techniques such as direct observation of the field of study and an interview with the managerial and administrative staff working in said faculty. This project will benefit the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the State University of the South of Manabí, since it will strengthen the security level of the Dean as well as the control of the directive personnel that access said department in an authorized manner. The proposal of this project concludes with the restructuring of a biometric system, establishing the components, technical requirements of each component to be used, which is of utmost importance for the security to be applied through different techniques such as fingerprints, passwords through PIN of each user, in this way to strengthen security and control for the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the State University of the South of Manabí. |
