| Resumen : | El trabajo investigativo tuvo como tema el sector comercial camaronero y su aporte al desarrollo económico del cantón Pedernales, este sector ha sido beneficioso para las costas ecuatorianas, y ha contribuido con el desarrollo económico de las zonas más marginales. El sector comercial y exportador de esta área generan nuevas divisas ubicando al camarón en uno de los principales productos de aportación al PIB nacional. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar como el sector comercial camaronero aporta al desarrollo económico del cantón Pedernales; para ello se identificó las características del sector camaronero que influye en el desarrollo socio económico, así mismo se estableció las fuentes de trabajo que genera este sector y que influye en el nivel de vida de la población; y los ingresos de las ventas de este sector y su incidencia en el desarrollo local. La investigación es no experimental y de campo, utilizando los métodos: descriptivo, bibliográficos, inductivo-deductivo, y método estadístico con aplicación en entrevista y encuestas a 137 sujetos. En relación al factor socioeconómico se determinó que al ser el camarón un producto de prestigio en exportación y con más aportación en el PIB y que genera inversiones que van de acuerdo con el desarrollo económico del cantón, factor nivel de vida las fuentes de trabajo son: alimentadores, descavezadores, administradores, vigilantes etc. Factor desarrollo local los ingresos de ventas del cantón son de $160 a $200 millones anuales solo en exportación. |
| Descripción : | The investigative work had as its theme the commercial shrimp sector and its contribution to the economic development of the Pedernales canton, this sector has been beneficial for the Ecuadorian coasts, and has contributed to the economic development of the most marginal areas. The commercial and export sector of this area generate new foreign exchange, placing shrimp in one of the main products of contribution to the national GDP. The objective of this research was to analyze how the commercial shrimp sector contributes to the economic development of the Pedernales canton; For this, the characteristics of the shrimp sector that influences socio-economic development were identified, as well as the sources of work that this sector generates and that influences the population's standard of living; and the income from the sales of this sector and its impact on local development. The research is non-experimental and field, using the methods: descriptive, bibliographic, inductive-deductive, and statistical method with application in interviews and surveys of 137 subjects. In relation to the socioeconomic factor, it was determined that as shrimp are a prestigious export product with a greater contribution to GDP and that it generates investments that are in accordance with the economic development of the canton, a factor of standard of living, the sources of work are: feeders, decavezadores, administrators, guards etc. Local development factor, the canton's sales income is $ 160 to $ 200 million per year only in exports. |
