| Resumen : | El presente proyecto investigativo tiene como objetivo principal “Realizar el estudio de factibilidad de una red de Fibra Óptica Plástica (POF) para el fortalecimiento de la comunicación en la carrera de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, ya que puede brindar un gran aporte académico con la velocidad de transmisión de datos más eficiente en la carrera. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se realizó la hipótesis general donde responde a la formulación del problema y variables. Se realizaron encuestas a los estudiantes de la carrera de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí y un banco de preguntas al coordinador de dicha carrera, para poder obtener información relevante del estado actual de la red de comunicación y de ser factible la implementación de la misma en la carrera. Para el desarrollo del marco teórico se basó en la investigación sobre los temas principales que conciernen al contenido del título del proyecto. Finalmente, el proyecto culmina con la propuesta, la cual tiene como objetivo el diseño de una red de fibra óptica plástica (POF) para fortalecer la comunicación en la carrera de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, la cual se realizó con éxito con el software libre Cisco Packet Tracer donde se realizó el esquema lógico y la configuración de la red; donde además se detallan las conclusiones y recomendaciones de la propuesta indicada para una implementación a futuro en la carrera de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación |
| Descripción : | The main objective of this research project is "To carry out the feasibility study of a Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) network for the strengthening of communication in the Information and Communication Technologies career of the State University of the South of Manabí, already that can provide a great academic contribution with the most efficient data transmission speed in the race. For the development of the project, the general hypothesis was made where it responds to the formulation of the problem and variables. Surveys were carried out to the students of the Information and Communication Technologies career of the State University of the South of Manabí and a bank of questions to the coordinator of said career, in order to obtain relevant information on the current state of the communication network and be feasible the implementation of the same in the race. For the development of the theoretical framework, it was based on research on the main themes that concern the content of the project title. Finally, the project culminates with the proposal, which aims to design a plastic fiber optic network (POF) to strengthen communication in the Information and Communication Technologies career of the State University of the South of Manabí, the which was successfully carried out with the free software Cisco Packet Tracer where the logic scheme and the network configuration were carried out; where the conclusions and recommendations of the indicated proposal for a future implementation in the Information and Communication Technologies career are also detailed. |
