| Resumen : | En la Ruta del Spondylus, uno de los sectores que más aporta al ingreso económico en el mercado es la pesca, al ser un producto perecedero es necesario utilizar hielo para su conservación, allí radica la necesidad de los pescadores artesanales e industriales de adquirir esta materia prima. Al ser la población pesquera alta ha generado que exista una demanda insatisfecha de hielo en el mercado en donde la Cooperativa de producción pesquera artesanal “Zona Sur” ha visto una oportunidad de negocio. El objetivo de la presente investigación es diagnosticar el sector productor de hielo en Puerto López y su impacto comercial en la Ruta del Spondylus; para realizar el respectivo análisis de las variables, la metodología utilizada en la investigación fue: el método exploratoria- cualitativa, concluyente-cuantitativa, analítico y bibliográfico los cuales aportaron para determinar la problemática existente. En la recolección de datos se utilizó la encuesta y entrevistas a los pescadores artesanales e industriales de la Ruta del Spondylus en la zona sur de Manabí evidenciando la necesidad de adquirir este producto, en donde el consumo aumenta en época de invierno por las altas temperaturas, lo que conlleva a los pescadores a trasladarse a otros lugares para adquirir esta materia prima debido a la escasez que llega a existir. Por consiguiente, se propone elaborar un estudio técnico para la implantación de una fábrica productora de hielo ubicada en Puerto López |
| Descripción : | On the Spondylus route, one of the sectors that contributes most to the economic income in the market is fishing, since it is a perishable product, it is necessary to use ice for its conservation therefore the need for artisanal and industrial fishermen to acquire this raw material. Given the fact that there is at high fishing population, there is an unsatisfied demand for ice in the market where the Artisanal Fisheries Production Cooperative “Zona Sur” has seen a business opportunity. The objective of this research is to diagnose the ice producing sector in Puerto López and its commercial impact on the Spondylus Route; To perform the respective analysis of the variables, the methodology used in the research was: the exploratory-qualitative, conclusive-quantitative, analytical and bibliographic method which contributed to determine the existing problem, in the data collection the survey and interviews were used to the artisanal and industrial fishermen of the Spondylus route in the southern area of Manabí, demonstrating the need to acquire this product, where consumption increases in winter due to high temperatures, which leads fishermen to move to other places to acquire this raw material due to the shortage that comes into existence. Therefore, it is proposed to develop a technical study for the implementation of an ice-producing factory located in Puerto López |
