| Resumen : | Toxoplasma Gondii, es un parasito intracelular ampliamente distribuido en el mundo cuyo huésped definitivo es el gato, siendo el hombre un hospedero accidental, según datos de la Organización Mundial de la Salud se estima que aproximadamente el 60% de la población presenta títulos de anticuerpos IgG/IgM contra Toxoplasma Gondii, sin embargo el rango de prevalencia de la infección varía mucho entre países con cifras que van del 10-80%, el objetivo de esta investigación es de “Analizar la seroprevalencia de Toxoplasma Gondii asociada a la convivencia con animales domésticos en mujeres de 20 – 35 años”. Se realizó un estudio analítico-descriptivo, realizado a 275 mujeres escogidas a través del tipo de muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple y que firmaron el consentimiento informado. |
