| Resumen : | El desarrollo del presente proyecto de investigación está encaminado a un análisis detallado y a su vez orientado a la adquisición de los conocimientos suficientes para la comprensión de la importancia y factibilidad para la implementación de tecnología Wifi y su aporte en el desarrollo de las actividades académicas de los estudiantes, docentes y personal administrativo que comúnmente frecuenta los espacios abiertos del Complejo Universitario, este proyecto inicia con el estudio de la problemática abordando principalmente la falta de cobertura para redes inalámbricas disponibles en los espacios abiertos del complejo, además es importante mencionar las técnicas y metodologías utilizadas como lo fueron las encuestas realizadas a los estudiantes, docentes y personal administrativo que frecuentan estos lugares, lo cual permitió recolectar datos para su respectivo análisis e interpretación, mostrando como resultado la importancia respecto a la utilización de redes inalámbricas que brinden acceso a Internet, además de la frecuente utilización de las mismas para desarrollar sus actividades académicas y recreativas, demostrando así la viabilidad para la realización de un Estudio de Factibilidad para la Ampliación de Cobertura Wifi en el Complejo Universitario de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí y su impacto en las personas que frecuentan los mismo, por último se desarrollaron las respectivas conclusiones y recomendaciones para una futura implementación de infraestructura Wifi con equipos que transmiten en frecuencias de 2.4 y 5 GHZ. |
| Descripción : | Estatal del Sur de Manabí University is a public educational institution that has become an icon in the academic field for the development of the southern zone of Manabí, the development of this research project is aimed at a detailed analysis and in turn oriented to the acquisition of sufficient knowledge to understand the importance and feasibility for the implementation of Wi-Fi technology and its contribution in the development of the academic activities of students, teachers and administrative staff that commonly frequents the open spaces of the Complejo Deportivo students. This project starts with the study of the problem mainly addressing the lack of coverage for wireless networks available in the open spaces of the complex, it is also important to mention the techniques and methodologies used as they were surveys conducted to students, teachers and administrative staff they frequent these places, which allowed collecting data for their respective analysis and interpretation, showing as a result the importance with respect to the use of wireless networks that provide access to the Internet, in addition to the frequent use of them to develop their academic and recreational activities, demonstrating the feasibility of conducting a Feasibility Study for the Extension of Wi-Fi Coverage in the Complejo University of Estatal del Sur de Manabí University and its impact on the people who frequent the same, finally the respective conclusions and recommendations were developed for a future implementation of Wi-Fi infrastructure with equipment that transmits on 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. |
